There are so many options and every one talks about how their system works perfectly to reduce colic and other issues that babies face when they drink through the bottle.

I have tried medela, this and mam bottles. I didn’t see any major difference. I am using avent just because I bought it. The baby is fine no matter which company I use. He drinks from any bottle, no issues.

One issue that I do have with this avent bottles is the way the bottle is constructed. It is the most annoying part of the bottle for me. If I knew it before, I wouldn’t have bought these. The bottle has kind of a ridge at the top and is not a smooth curve. When the milk goes below that ridge, the milk gets stuck there. You have to shake that bottle to make the milk fall to the nipple. And as the baby keeps moving sometimes, you have adjust the bottle or take it out of his mouth and put it back it which makes the milk get stuck again at the ridge. So you have to shake again. The medela and mam bottles get the milk to the nipple till the last drop.

These bottles are PERFECT!! I am not one to sit there and buy 400 bottles to let my child find one that is right for them. After doing a million tons of research and reading reviews until I think I could write one with my eyes closed (look at me now) I decided on these as my choice. I chose these bottles for the following reasons:
    1. These bottles (and accessories) are widely available. If I go on a trip and I need something extra I can go to the local store and buy the piece; or a new bottle. I don’t see some of the other bottles around in stores which could potentially cause havoc on my life which I don’t need.
    2. These bottles have air vents in the top of the nipple rather than the bottom of the bottle. I used to ventair bottles with my daughter and while they were okay, I just didn’t like the curve of the bottle and how awkward they were to use and fill. These bottles do not leak at the vents and are very convenient when it comes to air sensitive tummies.
    3. Have you seen these bottles?! They are chubby and cute! Just like the babies who are using them 🙂

I chose this pack because the bottles are necessary, the bottle brush will come in handy, I loved the idea of the formula holder, and while I will not use the pacifier (because I think they’re creepy when the baby has it in his/her mouth), it came with one which I can regift!

This set is the best thing I bought my entire pregnancy and I will be purchasing more as I go along in my family planning!!

The only bottle my son liked, July 17, 2016

Before my son was born I stocked up on these bottles because the claims they are easy to clean, need no bags and help to cause less gas. I am a first time mom & had no idea what colic was, or even had experience with bottles before. I started out with the plastic version of these and then went on to a couple glass ones because I was afraid that boiling bottles every night was going to melt them (which it didn’t do at all).
My son loved both the glass and plastic version of these bottles (the glass made his formula colder, which he liked in summer- he never did like warm formula.
The plastic and the glass bottles washed and boiled nicely without any problems. I did have to stock up on extra nipples over the months because my son would start chewing on them and create a hole that made too much formula come out at once (he didn’t like that at all).
4 pieces to these bottles. The cap, nipple, ring and bottle itself. Super easy to take apart to clean and put back together. What I like most is the opening of the bottle is wide enough to really get in there and clean and the nipples are rounded at the tip, not flat ( so they mimic a real nipple for those who BF and bottle feed).
These bottles also have a little curve to the middle of them, so they are easy to hold- both for you and for baby to grab onto.
I would only let my son hold the plastic bottle, because the glass ones are heavy.

My son was using these bottles from birth until he turned over a year old (late weaning onto a trainer cup). We went from a 4 ounce to a 9 ounce plastic and 8 ounce glass bottle as he got older and each one lasted long as we needed it to. This was the only bottle my son would accept, he hated the nipples and feel of every other bottle I tried.
